Tish hayward Scholarship
Hayward’s Hands will grant one student a $5,000 scholarship . The recipient of this award will be a student who is dedicated to serving their community and shows balance between their academic school work and their community outreach. Students will submit their application packet on March 22, 2018 and Casey Hayward will announce the recipient of the scholarship in May of 2018.
shoot for a cure basketball tournament
Shoot 4 A Cure is a 5 on 5 basketball tournament open to the public with a mission of raising breast cancer awareness in the community.
Please note there is a 20 team max, we encourage early registration. 12 players are allowed per team. The tournament is a double elimination bracket format. Each team will be guaranteed 2 games.
Once registered, you will be sent a confirmation email with further details.
Tournament winners will receive a cash prize!
Proceeds raised from this event will support local families who have been affected by breast cancer and to provide comprehensive breast health education.

casey hayward football camp
The aim of the football camp is to give members of the community an opportunity to learn basic football drills from professional athletes. The camps with focus on the form and structure of football and will equip students with strategies for performing as a student athlete. The funds will be used to purchase t-shirts for participants, insurance, and food.

community thanksgiving dinner
The aim of the community Thanksgiving Dinner is to provide a dinner for members of the local community. The goal is to bridge the gap between members of the different socio-economic status and come together to celebrate. Hayward’s Hands has hosted this event for 4 years in Perry Georgia. This year will be an inaugural year for the Los Angeles community.
back to school drive
The purpose of the Back to School Drive is to provide students with the essential tools that they need in order to be successful in school. The funds will be used to purchase book bags, paper, pencils, etc.
career development workshops
Hayward’s Hands will host interview workshops to assist members of the community. The participants will complete job searches, create resumes, and do mock interviews. The workshop could be limited to 20 people. The budget will be used to provide participants with $50 to go towards clothes for interviews and lunch for the participants.
Positivity impacting youth to bridge the gap between home, school and their community. The funds will be used to provide lunch for the participants and to purchase tools such as pens, paper, for the workshops.
